Radiation protection equipment is made of flexible lead-based polymeric materials or special lead-free materials and are produced according to the user’s wish. In addition to the standard lead thicknesses of 0.25 mm Pb, 0.35 mm Pb and 0.50 mm Pb, protective aprons with different lead thicknesses and corresponding protection can also be produced, under special order.
LIGHTWEIGHT LEAD
This protective material called lightweight lead is 22% lighter than standard lead materials, while its protective properties are at the same values.
LEADFREE
According to users request, x-ray protection aprons by using Leadfree materials, which does not contain any lead and are environmentally friendly can be supplied. Leadfree materials are 20% lighter than standard lead materials, while their protective properties are at the same value.
STANDARD COVER MATERIALS
The outer standard protective materials and accessories are specially made by OXFORD type fabrics, which are resistant to wear during prolonged use and have a hygienic easy-clean structure. The color selection is made from the following options:

Description
Wrap model apron provides a perfect protection by covering whole front of the body with overlapping panels (0,175 mm/0,250 mm). As an example, to provide protection value of 0,50 mm Pb, two 0,250 mm Pb valued panels (double-breasted) arranged to overlap each other. It provides light weight and high-level protection in long term use. It is preferred in cardiology or other intense X-ray exposed areas and provides maximum protection for users. Its shoulder padding reduces the pressure on the shoulders.
