Description
- Baby Start is a lightweight T-type neonatal resuscitation device suitable for both delivery rooms and special intensive care units for infants and newborns (N.I.C.U.).
- It is a simple and effective device for newborns resuscitation with a mask or endotracheal tube.
- Resuscitation is performed with positive pressure, manual control and free end. The gas mixture flows into the lungs at pressures regulated by the operator.
- Recovery pressures (PIP and PEEP) are legible on the quick response manometer. Above the selected maximum inhalation pressure (PIP) the safety “maximum pressure” valve is operated to avoid the risk of excessive inhalation pressures.
- The detector operates connected to an air, oxygen or mixture supply, via a flowmeter, blender or mixer, which can then be connected to a humidifier.
- The device uses a disposable circuit complete with an exhalation valve and a neonatal silicone mask.
- Can be installed, with special support, in a neonatal heating device, in a transfer incubator, or in a resuscitation trolley.
